Top Answer Mike E January 26, 2021 The Mazda CX5 Audio system problems can be caused by bad wires or damaged speakers. Much more commonly though they will be caused by a bad fuse. To get to the fuse box look to the left of the steering wheel look for a small seam or crack along the dash. Using a screwdriver or prybar you will want to pop this open.
2016.5 CX-5 backup camera not functioning. Everything was working fine until I got to work this morning, went to parallel park & suddenly the backup camera wasn't engaging when in reverse, ITS stays on whatever screen it was on. I have a 2016.5 CX-5 GT. Probably two thirds of the time, the navigation fails to start. The loading screen just keeps spinning. This past weekend, I took the vehicle in for service and firmware 59.00.441 was installed. I was told this would fix the problem. I tested the nav three times before leaving the dealership, and all seemed well.

The device is in a location in which radio wave interference can occur easily, such as inside a bag in a rear seat, in a rear pocket of a pair of pants. Move the device to a location in which radio wave interference is less likely to occur. The pairing information is updated when the device OS is updated.

I picked up a $20 " mazda CX-5 seat motor drive shaft cable rod 2" stainless" on EBay. I had to cut off 1/4" w/ a Harb Frt electric cut off tool. It took a good bit of giggling to fit but it works, tho a bit noisy. Plan B would be to pick up a used seat track from a bone yard, $150 + shipping. Most yards are tied to the nationwide used parts wZA8R3.
