Hi Using the Straw harvesting mod to make pallets of pellets I've hit an issue. I didn't have my forks at the right height and I accidentally knocked the pallet backwards off the conveyor belt in the factory building. I couldn't quite get it so used the crane, this I managed to turn grab and turn the pallet but dropped it back on the conveyor.

In FS19 you need to shred the bales using a shredder (check the store under Animals) at the appropriate spot of the animal pen. Straw and hay bales can be shredded using the TMR mixing wagon, but grass requires a bale shredder (which of course also works fine with hay or straw).

The Case sugarcane harvester is still only a 2m working with. Sugarcane also outputs a high quantity. The field shown would probably take an hour or two to fully harvest the field. That’s not counting the breaks you would be making to store or sell the crop.

Straw is straw. Bale it, or collect it in a forage wagon, it stays straw. Hay and silage both come from grass, not straw. For hay, cut grass and then use a tedder, then bale or use a forage wagon. For silage, cut grass, and then either bale it and wrap the bales, or collect it and put it into a silage bunker, compact it and cover it. 15.
