Hunter's Cache? There is a collectible icon near where you first meet Wogah/central Oros. It tells me to study the cave painting to find the location of a rare resource. Yet no matter what I do, I cannot interact with the painting. I searched all around the area, including the location the painting alludes to. Anyone figure this out? Yup.

From the painting you can tell that the image depicted is the image of the eagle's nest that Wogah has you climb up to in the mission to get rare eagle feathers. If you haven't reached that quest yet just follow the wall north to the end of the lake and then climb up to the tip top using your grappling claw.
Necro topic I know but I just got the game yesterday and this is the first thread that pops up. While the cave you're referring to MAY be a story related mission (some mushroom mission a villager gives you) this isn't the case for all of them.
