Dotang34 10 years ago #1. I have the game on steam and went to uninstall it. It doesn't really seem to be doing anything wrong but then again it doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. The message box saying "Uninstalling Left 4 Dead 2 " is still popped up with the rotating circle thing that indicates that it's working.

IF you have them outside the workshop, you should be able to navigate to your game folder/addons and delete them (possibly need to delete lines from a text-file, too, not sure - But I think not). Workshop, yes, you have to unsubscribe, or they just D/L again.
UPDATE: So the files were still in steamapps/common. Tried launching it from the exe there, and it worked, but it launched in insecure mode. Still shows up as uninstalled in my library. Click that and it will open up the installation directory. Once you’re in the installation directory, navigate to the "left4dead2/addons" folder. This is where all of your Left 4 Dead 2 addons are stored. Go through the list of addon folders and delete the ones you want to get rid of.
